About Me

Hello!

J. L. Linn is an aspiring author who has spent most of her life writing stories.  She wrote her first novel at fourteen about her lifelong passion - horses. She was raised in Arkansas and is a southern belle at heart.  She is also a freelance writer and has had articles published in local and national magazines.  She also had a poem published in a poetry book while in high school.  She continues to be the consummate proofreader for all her friends and family and adores grammar.

She enjoys reading books from all genres but gravitates toward young adult and new adult fantasy.  Some of her favorite authors include Sarah J. Maas, Jennifer L. Armentrout, Noelle Rayne, A. P. Walston, Raven Kennedy, Sabaa Tahir, and more!

Jennifer has been riding since she was seven years old and has always had a passion for horses. She currently owns an off the track Thoroughbred named Taylor, an Oldenburg named Theodore, and a recently passed Hanoverian gelding named Petey (fondly referred to as Sir Peter) with whom she trains in dressage. Both horses can be quite the characters! Whereas Taylor is the diva in her family, Theodore is the goofball, and Petey was quite the drama queen!  Petey was her dressage schoolmaster and was always quick to throw her a curve ball in their training sessions.  Theodore will now fill the role Petey had, and she is very excited to get into the show ring with him.  She loves having horses with such big personalities.

Keep checking back for the latest news on her own writings, travels, and favorite books.  If you are an author that would like to be featured in a blog post, drop us a line below. This is a place for voracious readers and authors to come together!
